Pronounced ripe mulberry and plush red cherry aromas with soft touches of vanilla and expressive dark chocolate – the hallmark profile of the 1685 Merlot line. On the palate, vibrant red and dark fruit flavors—mulberry, plum, black cherry—are supported by refined wood tannins. The finish offers a savory fynbos and subtle roasted coffee-bean character, delivering a multi-layered, elegant style.
