Description
The 2020 Ayama Vermentino is celebrated for its lively aromas of pear, white peach, lime, and pink grapefruit. On the palate, it reveals a unique combination of citrus zest and crushed rock minerality, characteristic of classic Vermentino. This wine is dry with a slightly oily texture and finishes with a refreshing bitterness, reminiscent of grapefruit pith, and hints of fresh almond when on the riper side.
Food Pairing
This Vermentino pairs well with seafood, particularly shellfish and lean fish, as well as light Mediterranean dishes, aligning with its minerality and citrus notes.
