The aging was developed in neutral French oak barrels during 16 months.

The harvest was planned on the 20th of September in perfect weather conditions. All grapes previously selected and de-stemmed were foot trodden for 12 hours in stone lagares after which fermented in stainless steel tanks for 8 days.

Wine & Soul is a highly respected winery located in the heart of the Douro Valley, Portugal's most renowned wine region. Over time, the estate expanded to include other notable vineyards, including Quinta da Manoella, which features vines that are over 100 years old. The winery is known for its commitment to natural farming practices, avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and using traditional methods like foot-treading grapes in granite lagares. Their wines, such as Pintas, Pintas Character, and Guru, are critically acclaimed for their depth, complexity, and reflection of the unique Douro terroir.
