The wine spent 24 months on its lees before disgorgement. No dosage was added, thus a Brut Nature.

Whole bunch pressed and naturally settled for 48 hours. Then naturally fermented in old 600 litre French oak barrels and matured in barrel for 4 months. Then bottled to undergo second fermentation.

Wildeberg is a Franschhoek wine producer set against the mountain slopes of the Cape Winelands. Known for wild ferments, textured wines and a strong sense of place, the range focuses on distinctive South African wines shaped by site, patience and a less conventional cellar approach.
