Zwartwater is the culmination of a five-generation journey through faith and surrender, ultimately leading to this iconic Swartland estate, deeply rooted in South African wine history. Once the Johannes family’s story became intertwined with that of Lammershoek, Zwartwater was born. Out of respect and reverence for this iconic Paardeberg jewel, a philosophy was established, to design wines focused on expressing this distinguished site at its highest potential, rather than simply varietal character.
