Beeslaar Wines

Starts with Prof Isak Perold that crossed Pinot Noir and Cinsaut in 1924. I did not pick Pinotage, it picked me. Starting my career at Swartland Winery working with 3000 tons of Pinotage, and later moving to Kanonkop where it is still 50% of the plantings I work with. I have been working with the Beeslaar Pinotage vineyard for the last 17 years, and in 2011 my wife, Jeanne, and I, decided that this site needs a voice, and that is Beeslaar Pinotage.
