Gold Dust to Grapes Chardonnay

All the grapes came from a block on our farm, Klein Welmoed in Stellenbosch. All the vineyards are trellised. All grapes are harvested by hand in individual bins in optimal conditions to ensure true quality from beginning to end.

The wine spent 9 months in the barrel before bottling. 100% of the wine was fermented and aged in barrels.

We do whole bunch press. The wine was naturally fermented in French oak barrels

Usana is situated in the beautiful and historic Stellenbosch Wine Region on Klein Welmoed the Winshaw Family farm. The Winshaws have been farming on Klein Welmoed for forty-four years; over the past few years the family has diversified the farm by introducing the Usana produce. This new venture boasts a portfolio of four wines; Cabernet Sauvignon Sauvignon Blanc Pinot Gris and a barrel fermented Chenin Blanc.
