Trizanne Signature Wines
Trizanne Signature Wines has been producing varied wines of great quality in the coastal town of Noordhoek since 2008. While winemaker Trizanne Barnard uses grapes from the cooler temperature vineyards of Elim to create fresh and contrasting bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, she prefers using grapes grown in the dry, warm summers of the Swartland to produce concentrated red wines. Sourcing and selecting vineyard parcels from these contrasting regions, and pairing them with the most suitable varieties have resulted in Trizanne Signature Wines’ four very distinct wines – an embodiment of a winemaking philosophy that is built on diversity and a search for unique perspectives.
Description
Award: Trophy for Best Shiraz Notes of spice and juicy red fruit, all neatly integrated with the subtle oak nuances. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, a lovely saline/ spicy thread throughout this Syrah that lends energy and tension towards the precise and detailed finish. This is a superb, sophisticated and nuanced Syrah that should age with style.
