With the ebb and flow of the tide and the cool breeze blowing off the Southern Ocean, Trade Winds present their wines from prime vineyards of the Western Cape, located near the tip of Africa.
Description
This beautifully balanced Sauvignon Blanc is generous in style with a full nose layered with citrus, pineapple and peach. The palate is complex, combining the character of fresh cut grass and green herbs with ripe tropical fruit notes of peach and apricot alongside an enjoyable level of minerality. The wine is fresh with soft acidity, a good mouthfeel and a round lingering finish.
Food Pairing
For starters enjoy with freshly shucked oysters or gazpacho. Also delicious with fish on the coals - Cape Salmon or yellowtail, grilled garlic prawns, pasta primavera, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. And end with goat’s cheese or even a passion fruit and mango pavlova
