Thorne and Daughters Wines was started in 2012 by Johnand Tasha Seccombe to produce authentic wines in thebeautiful Western Cape where they have made their home. To produce the wines they’ve drawn on the great history of wine growing there putting together old vineyard parcels with new grape varieties and making wines with old school simplicity and a modern ‘edge’. Their approach to wine making is simple honest and gentle looking to make wines that tell a story of the Cape of Good Hope.

The 2023 vintage of Thorne & Daughters Rocking Horse Cape White Blend is a sophisticated and complex wine with layered aromas and flavors. It exhibits aromas of flint, peach, and jasmine, with a palate that follows with notes of gentle tropical fruits, vanilla, and yuzu. The finish is tightly coiled, offering a refreshing minerality and length.
