Garnacha

Pairs beautifully with hearty dishes—red meats such as veal chops or Iberian ham—as well as game dishes like venison or rabbit. Its spicy-chocolate nuance also complements rich, slow-cooked meals.

Produced in central Spain (Vino de España/La Mancha), the vines are situated around 800 m above sea level in a continental-Mediterranean climate. The fruit comes from roughly 300 grower members of the Terra Linda cooperative.

Post-fermentation, the wine sees oak ageing (specific type, origin and length not specified). Notes of vanilla, spice, and integrated oak suggest at least some barrel maturation.

Harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes undergo destemming and crushing. Alcoholic fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures between 25–30 °C to preserve aromas and ensure supple tannins. This is followed by malolactic fermentation, then racking and resting in vats.

Terra Linda is a cooperative-style winery based in La Mancha—Spain’s largest Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP), covering central Castile-La Mancha, with vineyards situated around 800 m above sea level under a continental Mediterranean climate. Founded in the 1960s by local growers, it has expanded to nearly 300 contributing families who deliver their fruit for winemaking.
