Tempier
Domaine Tempier is a historic family-owned winery located in the Bandol appellation of Provence, southern France. Established in 1834 by the Tempier family, the estate gained prominence under Léonie Tempier, who won a gold medal for her Mourvèdre-dominant red wine in 1885. The domaine further flourished when Lucien Peyraud married Lucie Tempier in 1936, leading to significant contributions to the establishment of the Bandol appellation in 1941.

"Big, soft supple black damson fruit. Fresh, vibrant acidity with some dry oak, and supple wild black damsons, a hint of blackberries. Tart, smoky layers of green dry herbs. Well-managed tannin and good grip on the finish. 2025-2041" Decanter
