Sutherland Vineyards is situated just 9 kms off the Atlantic Ocean with altitudes of 140 to 250 meters above sea level. The cool maritime climate allows for slower ripening than in other Cape Wineland areas producing wines with vibrant concentrated fruit flavours and an elegant minerality. All Sutherland wines are bottled and produced at the estate in Stellenbosch.
Description
"Anna is a single-site Chardonnay from the Webb family's estate in Elgin, released with a little more time in bottle. Stylishly fermented in new barrels, it has ample minerality, layers of kelp, lemongrass and oyster shell, a smoky, toasty top note and a scoop of cream from 15% malolactic fermentation. 2026-31" Tim Atkin
