Creative Block 3 (SMV)

The spicy and rich characteristics of this wine pair well with smoked pork belly or mildly spicy vegetable curries​.

The grapes are sourced from Groenekloof and Stellenbosch, areas known for their breezy coastal climate. The cooler conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly, developing more concentrated flavors. The 2019 growing season was marked by below-average rainfall, but favorable spring and summer temperatures resulted in small, concentrated berries​.

The grapes were hand-harvested, then fermented in stainless steel tanks for up to 14 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation occurred in 300L French and American oak barrels for 16 months, with a 50/50 mix of first- and second-fill barrels​.
