Syrah and Touriga Nacional were once again the stars of the vintage. I selected the best of 2 or 3 barrels of each and played around with various blends of the two. In the end I settled on a high percentage of Syrah and when I taste the wine now I still can't believe the percentage of Touriga Nacional is only 15%. I looked at what else we could add to improve the wine and when the 2014 vintage was ready to be assess, again I looked at what options we had to improve along the lines of the multi vintage 1st Edition, but what we has was just right
