The Pierre Jourdan range of Méthode Cap Classiques and still wines was named after the French Huguenot to whom the Franschhoek property was granted in 1694. True to French tradition, only the best quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit are used to create Pierre Jourdan wines.
Description
Pierre Jourdan Brut offers a crisp and refreshing palate, with predominant lime and citrus flavors, courtesy of the Chardonnay, balanced by the richness and complexity of Pinot Noir. The wine features delicate yeasty aromas, resulting from its time on the lees during bottle fermentation. The palate is lively, with a rewarding, complex finish.
