On the palate
The wine show a gorgeous black to purple colour which is a true testimony of the quality and condition of the hand sorted berries which made it into the cellar. On the nose aromas of black currants,
creme de cassis and balsamic are in the forefront. Secondary to that the wine shows fragrant aromas of dried flowers, black peppercorns and allspice. Very complex. Tannins are present, yet very well integrated with a polished finesse. On the palate the sheer size of the wine is evident. The tannin, fruit, alcohol and oaking gives this wine great elegance, body and weight.
