The Den Pinotage Rosé

From Pinotage vineyards in the Voor Paardeberg and the Swartland, and Grenache and Carignan from Wellington.

The Pinotage grapes were whole bunch pressed, and the juice fermented stainless steel tanks with wild yeast; the Carignan and Grenache Noir were cold soaked for a few hours before being drained and cold fermented with a cultured yeast.

Painted Wolf Wines is a South African producer led by Jeremy and Emma Borg, with a strong focus on Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Shiraz and Rhône varieties. The brand combines characterful Cape wines with a conservation mission, supporting the protection of African wild dogs and other endangered wildlife.
