Our vineyards are our history, our uniqueness, our passion. Our wines are born in our Finca Ygay, a 300-hectare vineyard, located in the south of Rioja Alta, which surrounds our winery, allowing us to exhaustively control the quality of our wines from the moment they are born. Our team, led by María Vargas, with the help of a privileged climate, boundless care of the vineyard and resolute respect for the environment, achieves wines with enormous personality.
Description
The 2020 Marqués de Murrieta Reserva is a harmonious and elegant Rioja, showcasing a miscellany of raspberry, blueberry, and cherry aromas, enhanced by hints of thyme, rosemary, and sandalwood. On the palate, it is straightforward and precise, with a juicy fruity profile, molded by fine tannins and a fresh, pleasant finish.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. Recommended pairings include lightly smoked hake kokotxa with Pil Pil sauce, Galician green chickpeas with organic egg yolk and white truffle, and line-caught baby squid with roasted squid jus and "redondilla" olive oil.
