The white grape blending components for this flavourful wine all derive from old vineyards, namely Chenin Blanc, Viognier and Chardonnay. As per normal practice on Lammershoek, they are farmed dry-land. Selected grapes from various vineyard pockets were handpicked early morning.

The three cultivars were handled separately in the cellar and the final blend was only made-up after eight months of aging. Meanwhile, the wines had been fermented and aged in various size concrete and stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. A year of bottle-aging followed before release.
