Placed on the classified Arboussas massif in Aniane, Hérault, the Grange des Pères vineyard enjoys an exceptional location, on plots of scrubland with white cracked limestone soils. Produced under the IGP Pays de l'Hérault label, the wines of La Grange des Pères offer a splendid definition of the crus of southern France. Richly aromatic and harmonious, the wines of La Grange des Pères have an extraordinary texture on the palate, maintaining perfect balance without any heaviness. Accessible when young, they have an undeniable capacity for ageing. A unique blend of 40% each Syrah and Mourvèdre with 10% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Counoise from glacial scree and limestone vineyards

Domaine de la Grange des Pères is a family estate created from scratch in 1989 in the Herault region, near Montpellier. Since its creation, the Domaine gained cult status (very limited production of highly sought-after wines). Laurent Vaillé has achieved in the Languedoc what others thought impossible. It took dynamite and bulldozing to clear the 10 Hectares of land in Aniane (Hérault) to find a great terroir for his cuttings - Syrah, Marsanne, and Roussanne from Chave, Mourvèdre from Tempier and Cabernet Sauvignon from Trévallon.
