Grande Cuvee (Gift)

Krug Grande Cuvée pairs beautifully with a range of sophisticated dishes. It complements seared scallops, foie gras, roasted chicken, and mature cheeses. The champagne's rich profile also pairs well with creamy dishes and desserts featuring almonds or citrus.

Krug sources grapes from multiple vintages and diverse plots across the Champagne region, ensuring a blend that reflects the house's signature style. The vineyards are carefully tended, with a focus on preserving the unique characteristics of each terroir.

Krug Grande Cuvée is aged for at least 6 years in Krug's cellars, which allows the wine to develop its intricate flavors and fine mousse. This extended ageing period is crucial for achieving the champagne's renowned elegance and complexity.

The production of Krug Grande Cuvée involves a meticulous selection of wines from numerous vintages. The base wine undergoes fermentation in small oak barrels, which adds complexity and structure. This multi-vintage blend includes reserve wines that can be up to 20 years old, contributing to the wine's remarkable depth and richness.

Since 1843 six generations of the Krug Family have been creating the finest and rarest Champagnes. Behind every precious drop of Krug stands the dream of a visionary. One man who long before others understood that the essence of Champagne is pleasure. So over 170 years ago Joseph Krug broke with convention to follow his vision: to create the most generous expression of Champagne every year regardless of climatic unpredictability. Thanks to an uncompromising craftsmanship a unique individual plot by plot approach from harvesting to blending an unparalleled library of 150 reserve wines and an exceptional cellar aging Krug is the benchmark when it comes to the best champagnes in the world.
