Jacquesson was founded in 1798 by Memmie Jacquesson and today stakes a claim as the oldest independent Champagne house. Early vintages were very successful and the house quickly established a good reputation and the wines are said to have found favour even with Napoleon.
Description
One of the "700" numbered cuvées, recognized for their finesse, purity and incredible aging potential. Resulting from a blend of 43% Chardonnay, 30% Meunier and 27% Pinot Noir, it offers citrus and brioche notes on the nose. Its bubble is of great finesse, and air. The mouth is very elegant, on white fruits, with a slightly woody and mineral touch. A fine, complex and tense champagne profile.
