Developed from scratch since 1984, GlenWood has established itself as a sought-after wine producer in local and international markets. We have 25 ha under vine from which we produce some 90,000 bottles annually, adhering strictly to sustainable farming guidelines, applying best labour practices and protecting our indigenous fynbos. The farm is surrounded by stunningly beautiful natural scenery.
Description
The 2023 vintage of GlenWood’s Grand Duc Chardonnay offers a rich and opulent profile. On the nose, it presents aromas of ripe pineapple and vanilla. The palate is full and creamy, featuring toasty vanilla notes from gentle oak usage, complemented by marmalade and citrus nuances on the aftertaste.

This Chardonnay pairs excellently with creamy or spicy dishes, making it a perfect companion for white roasts. It also excels with seafood dishes, such as grilled lobster or king prawns in garlic butter.
