Garganega

Italy's 6th most planted white varietal, this grape, grown in the North- East forms the basis of the Venetian wine Soave. The grape has a tendency to ripen late and produce very high yields but the grapes have a moderate acidity, elegant perfume and high concentration of aromatic compounds. Classic aromas of the wines produced include those of peach blossom, almond, apricot and baked golden apples. Garganega produces luscious sweet wines in addition to the dry, these are richly texture and have concentrated aromas of honey, candied lemon peel, tropical fruits and sweet spices. Browse our Garganega wine selection online and order the right wine for you.
