In the Robertson wine-growing region, winemakers will find wonderfully chalky terroir - and calcium is Chardonnay's best friend. Calcium gives the wine a brilliantly defined minerality. The combination of fruit and minerality in this wine is extremely tense and so the winemaker decided against aging in oak. A wonderfully harmonious and exciting wine!

The Chardonnay was aged 100% in steel - the small portion of Chenin Blanc was fermented on the skin on the whole bunch for two weeks.

After 12 long years of making really good wines for really nice people I decided that it is time to make some even better wines for myself. And obviously for you too. And for a whole lot of other deserving people on this planet. So if you are keen on good wines wines that oozes personality and want to keep ahead of the Joneses this is the right place to be.
