Although the Durbanville area is renowned for its SAUVIGNON BLANC that excels under the cool conditions where it is grown mostly on the cool south-facing slopes, the range of RED WINES also benefit from the warmer valley outskirts and opposing northern slopes.
Description
This wine presents a deep ruby red hue. On the nose, it offers cedarwood aromas intertwined with dark, brooding blackberries, ripe prunes, and a subtle dash of sweet cinnamon spice. The palate is elegant and full-bodied, showcasing prominent cinnamon, red-fleshed plums, blackberries, and red cherries, all accompanied by lingering sweet baking spices.
