On the palate

The wine has a golden yellow color, with slightly gray reflections. The nose, pleasant and fine, exudes aromas of citrus, pear, peach, boxwood, on a delicately woody background. The mouth, frank on the attack, opens on a beautiful evolving scale. The aromas of citrus, mineral and white flowers give the wine a powerful and fresh character at the same time. The finish is persistent.

The Vacheron domaine has about 43.5 hectares of vines, nearly all of which is in the town of Sancerre. They have been strong pioneers of organic and biodynamic viticulture and today they are one of the largest and most successful natural producers in the region. They use traditional tillage systems and fortifying the vineyards with nettle and herbal preparations that they believe return the nutrients to the soil. They are in the very best sub-region for Sancerre production.
