La Galoche Beaujolais Rouge

This wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including roast chicken, pork, pasta, and fried calamari. Its lightness and fruitiness also make it suitable for everyday meals​

The grapes are grown in vineyards located in the Pierres Dorées (Golden Stones) region of Beaujolais, on clay-limestone soils. The vines are about 50 years old and farmed organically​.

The grapes undergo carbonic maceration for 15 days, followed by native yeast fermentation and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for six months in concrete tanks, allowing the pure fruit flavors to shine​.

Domaine Saint-Cyr is a family winery where the vines are organically cultivated, with complete respect for the environment and without using any fertilisers, herbicides, insecticides or compounds made from chemicals. The winery has some of the largest organic plots in Beaujolais, with the team working according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture and with minimal intervention. This results in an honest expression of the Gamay variety with a clear personality from the area it grows in.
