Domaine Jean Chartron
Puligny-Montrachet based Domaine Jean Chartron was established in 1859, making it one of the oldest in the commune. The domaine today, is under the stewardship of 5th generation Jean-Michel & Anne-Laurie. They oversee some of the most prestigious vineyard parcels to be found in Burgundy, working across Villages level, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.
Description
The wine's golden colour conceals within it scents of bourbon vanilla and sandalwood. Upon tasting, initial flavours of star anise and liquorice coat the taste- buds. As the mouth begins to moisten once more, one is aware that this wine is worthy of its status. Without doubt, this wine will achieve magnificence if allowed to mature in a cellar for 10 years.
