The vines are grown on marsh soils, rich in clay. No pesticides or herbicides are used on the vines. The grapes are all picked by hand.

18 months in French Oak barrels, 100% new oak.

Fermentation occurs in barrel with natural indigenous yeasts. malolatic fermentation occurs thereafter.

The village of Saint-Romain picturesque and charming fully participates in the wine history of the Côte d'Or. The Dukes of Burgundy buy vines there from the year 1300.
