Claudia is a traditional method bottle fermented sparkling wine made from Chardonnay (76%) and Pinot Noir (24%.) Claudia is synonymous with the celebration of life, and should be present at every occasion, be it a milestone or the pure enjoyment of life’s pleasures. Creamy lemon curd aromas mingle with granny smith apples. Fresh and light in the mouth with a long finish of toasty brioche notes. It's lively acidity makes it an ideal food partner.

Gentle, whole bunch pressing and protection from oxidation yields clean, fresh juices free of harsh phenolics. This gentle handling, and cool fermentations help to preserve the subtle fruit of these delicate wines. Careful blending of the different base wines brings together components that will marry well when they undergo their transformation into Cap Classique. Initial fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

Grapes for this Cap Classique are all sourced from the cool viticultural regions of Hemel-en-Aarde & Botriver. It is in these areas that we find parcels of high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that can produce wines of longevity and finesse. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is known throughout the world to produce the finest and most long-lived sparkling wines, with their combination of lively acids and subtle fruit flavours which develop gracefully during the long maturation in bottle.

Domaine des Dieux

Domaine des Dieux produces a small range of award winning premium quality wines. These wines are produced with the same fundamentals as the great French and European wines thus we encourage all our wines to be cellar aged in order for them to reach their full potential. The farm was bought in 2002 by two wine lovers with a dream. A combination of good quality grapes much patience and a love of champagne set the stage for Domaine des Dieux to officially become the first producer of MCC in the Hemel en Aarde region. The dream had become a reality.
