The estate specializes in the Fleurie appellation. Historically established on this vintage, the Despres family dedicates its work entirely to it. This pink granite terroir offers a variety of styles depending on the location. The area included climates classified as Madone or Grille Midi.

The vinification and the selection of the plot can also offer a whole range with fruity wines, of guard, matured in oak barrels or not as well as a natural cuvée without added sulfites. Whole cluster during 10 to 12 day.

Domaine de la Madone is located on the renowned Madone slope in FLEURIE. This hillside is often considered by connoisseurs as the best of the local climates. It enjoys exceptional sunshine and its soil is made of pink granite suitable for the Gamay grape. This estate has been owned by the Despres family for 6 generations. Arnaud Despres produces various references in Fleurie as well as Viognier.
