Norman Goodfellows Devil’s Peak King’s Blockhouse IPA pours a clear golden‑amber with a lasting white head. The nose opens up with bold citrus, tropical fruit (think mango, passion fruit), grapefruit rind, some pine resin and floral hops. On tasting you get a strong hop bitterness up front, balanced by a solid but not heavy malt backbone providing caramel sweetness, finishing dry with lingering bitterness and resinous hop character. Mouthfeel is medium body, moderately carbonated, smooth yet assertively hoppy.
