"Sourced from the shale terraces that are part of its name, this is an intense, waxy, layered Stellenbosch Chardonnay that was entirely fermented in new French oak. Pear, orange zest and vanilla spice flavours dovetail nicely with fresh acidity and underlying minerality. 2023-27" Tim Atkin
Food Pairing
Ideally seafood dishes like Seabass or Lobster or light meats such as Quail or Veal. A vegan option such as grilled cashew, peanut and soy sauce topped Stir fry vegetables would also be a fantastic option.
