The unique location and terroir of our vineyards lead to the production of superb wines which truly reflect a sense of origin. Oude Compagnies Post is located high up against the rocky mountain slopes of the Tulbagh valley and is South-East facing. The early morning sun and cool afternoon breeze from the mountain allow the grapes to stay healthy and achieve optimum phenolic ripeness.
Description
For many years these varietals, which originate from the Southern Rhone Valley in France, have been blended together to create full-bodied wines with well-integrated flavour profiles. Each varietal brings something unique to this blend, creating a wine with aromas of red berries, violets and a spicy undertone. The fresh acidity and fine-grained tannins ensure a long finish.

A versatile wine that can pair with red meats but is also very enjoyable on its own.
