This wine is a true expression of the Mourvedre grape growing in the rocky clay soils high up against the mountain slopes of the Tulbagh valley.

Oude Compagnies Post is located high up against the rocky mountain slopes of the Tulbagh valley and is South-East facing. The early morning sun and cool afternoon breeze from the mountain allow the grapes to stay healthy and achieve optimum phenolic ripeness.
