Clos du Gravillas
Clos du Gravillas was founded in 1996 by Nicole and John Bojanowski, with 8ha of pristine organically farmed vineyard in the Minervious of Languedoc. They are situated next to the Parc Natural de Languedoc and similarly encourage biodiversity among the vines, reestablishing hedgerows and planting trees. The domaine holdings sit at atltitude, on a calcium rich limestone ridge, some 300m above sea level. They focus on traditional Languedoc varietals, producing exciting and impressive set of wines from old vine Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mouvedre in the reds, plus Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Maccabeu in their white blend L’Inattendu. They work with minimal intervention in the cellar and have a reputation for precision, elegance and restraint over power. These are a delicious set of wines. A leading light of the Languedoc.
