The vines are planted at a density of 7000 to 9000 vines / ha with a development in grassy and flowered strips for the diversification of the flora and for the passage of our small light tractors, we alternate plowing and controlled natural grassing. Manual harvest in organic conversion, Terra Vitis certified for 10 years.

Aging in oak casks for 7 months.

The vinification is done by gravity, maceration of 10-15 days partially in whole bunches

At Château Thivin , the oldest wine - growing estate in Mont-Brouilly , a special atmosphere reigns, that of a human-sized castle where the Geoffray family has been developing, for 6 generations , quality wines with the greatest respect for the terroirs. The grape harvests carried out by hand and the somewhat interventionist vinifications make it possible to obtain real local wines. The Domaine's vines are located mainly on the Crus Côte de Brouilly and Brouilly, but we also produce Beaujolais Blanc, Rosé and Sparkling cuvées from the most magnificent Beaujolais vineyards.
