Château Puy Razac
When my grandfather Guy Thoilliez - then régisseur (vineyard manager) at Château Monbousquet - succeeded his father at the family winery he didn't want to create a product meant to stand in the company of the world's finest but rather worked hard to craft a wine of which he could be proud worth sharing with his family and friends. And since I have taken over from him in 1997 I have tirelessly tried to live up to his legacy and I have entered a compromiseless search for the purest quality through the highest respect of our terroir and its fruits.
Description
The color is deep, intense red. The nose is dominated by a fruity note. Allowed to breathe, the fruit expresses itself more intensely with aromas of black cherries and blackberries. The woody and spicy notes complete the already complex nose. The length is continuous, deep, long, firm, perfectly enveloping and refined. A crisp finish, which retains its freshness. The aromatic return is fruity, with a spicy note.
Food Pairing
Château Puy-Razac 2018 will go perfectly with white meat such as roast chicken or veal, but also with fresh cheese and chocolate cake.
