Château Marjosse
Since 1650 the Lurton family have been wine producers in Bordeaux. Today they represent one of the largest wine dynasties in the world with no fewer than 17 family members of the currrent generation working in the wine trade today. François and his cousins represent the fifth generation. Pierre Lurton is the winemaker and owner of Chateau Marjosse.
Description
Pretty pale color with green reflections, brilliant and limpid. Very delicate nose, more marked by Sémillon, with predominantly white fruit notes. On the palate, we find the characteristic "Marjosse" style, combining richness, tension and freshness. The richness of the vintage translates into a dense mid-palate. The salinity of the finish is accompanied by beautiful bitterness, prolonging the finish.
Food Pairing
Seafood and crustaceans and other starters ; fish and white meats for mature wines, dry cheese for the older wines with a strong bouquet.
