Cape Rock
Cape Rock Wines is situated between the towns of Vredendal and Klawer 300km north from Cape Town and 30 km inland from Doringbaai on the West Coast of South Africa. We grow a variety of red and white grapes such as Syrah Grenache Mourvèdre Carignan Cabernet Sauvignon Grenache Blanc Roussanne Marsanne Viognier and Colombard. The vineyards are located on a single 11-hectare farm just above the banks of the Olifants river floodplain.
Description
The wine is light in colour and light bodied with a sweet nose of red summer berries and red fruits. The wine was made to be enjoyed at release, but should improve with age for up to 5 years after release.
Food Pairing
Amnesty is ideal to be enjoyed on its own in winter or slightly chilled during summer evenings and will go well if paired with charcuterie or breads and hard cheeses.
