The grapes used for this Muscadel are sourced from vineyards in the Robertson Valley, where the dry climate and well-drained limestone soils contribute to the concentration of flavors and natural acidity in the grapes. The vines are carefully managed using sustainable farming practices to maintain the health of the vineyard and the quality of the fruit. Grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to capture their full flavor potential and aromatic intensity.

After hand-harvesting, the Muscadel grapes are crushed, and the juice is allowed to ferment for a short period. Fermentation is then halted by the addition of grape spirit, which fortifies the wine and preserves its natural sweetness. This method captures the fresh fruit flavors and the distinct floral aromas characteristic of Muscadel. The wine is then aged for a short time in stainless steel tanks to retain its freshness and vibrant character.
