Bodegas Piedra is a prominent winery located in the Toro region of Spain, specifically in Zamora. It was founded with the goal of creating high-quality wines that celebrate tradition and innovation. The winery boasts one of the oldest vineyards in Toro, planted in 1967, covering 35 hectares. This vineyard primarily focuses on the Tinta de Toro (a local variant of Tempranillo) and Grenache grape varieties, producing wines that are deeply rooted in the rich terroir of the region. Bodegas Piedra is known for producing a wide range of wines, including natural, sulphate-free options, as well as aged wines that capture the essence of the old vines.
