Black Oystercatcher
The Black Oystercatcher is a family-run wine farm at the cool southernmost tip of Africa. Our unique region crafts our cool-climate wines, creating penetrating fruit flavours, and a distinctive minerality. But we’re more than a winery: we’re a destination. Description
The Black Oystercatcher Triton 2017 is characterized by prominent white pepper aromas with subtle hints of dark fruits. The palate is marked by a noticeable minerality, soft tannins, and a full-bodied mouthfeel, which is a signature of the Shiraz varietal used.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs well with hearty red meats, dark chocolate, and dishes featuring red berries. It is also recommended with venison shank pot from the Black Oystercatcher kitchen.
