Black Oystercatcher
The Black Oystercatcher is a family-run wine farm at the cool southernmost tip of Africa. Our unique region crafts our cool-climate wines, creating penetrating fruit flavours, and a distinctive minerality. But we’re more than a winery: we’re a destination. Description
The 2024 Black Oystercatcher Sauvignon Blanc is a well-balanced, cool-climate wine with a forthcoming nose of gooseberry, blackcurrant, and tropical notes. These aromas are complemented by a full palate of minerality and crisp aftertones, leading to a refreshing finish.
Food Pairing
This Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with pan-fried yellowtail, especially when served with a gooseberry beurre blanc sauce.
