West Cork Distillers, the creators of The Pogues Irish Whiskey, stand out as one of Ireland’s few remaining independent distilleries. They are unique in that they malt their own barley, giving them exceptional control over the flavor and quality of their products. The distillery is located in Skibbereen in the heart of West Cork, a region with a rich cultural heritage in Irish whiskey production. West Cork Distillers is known for their commitment to quality and innovation, producing small batches of whiskey using local ingredients, including grain and spring water from the River Ilen.
West Cork The Pogues Irish Whiskey is a unique blend that reflects the spirit of the iconic band The Pogues. It features a notable mahogany oak color with an aroma of malt, almond, and spiciness, highlighted by dark chocolate notes.
