12 Years Old Luscious Nectar Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Singleton Luscious Nectar opens with a peppery spice that quickly transitions to sweeter, more luscious notes. This aromatic profile is richly layered with hints of tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, accented by a subtle touch of oak.

On the palate, this whisky delivers a luxurious combination of flavours. The forefront is sweet, driven by notes of ripe stone fruits and honey, with a background of smooth vanilla and a dash of nutmeg. The complexity is enhanced by a creamy texture that makes each sip particularly inviting.

The finish is long and warming, with a lingering sweetness and the spiciness of oak continuing to resonate. This well-rounded ending maintains the whisky's luscious character and leaves a memorable impression.

Built in 1897, the last of seven distilleries founded in Dufftown, Glendullan was the brainchild of blenders from Aberdeen by the name of William Williams and sons. With solid business acumen and a private railway siding, the Williams gave Glendullan a healthy start in life. So solid in fact that it took the barley shortages of the Second World War to halt production – though the momentous world event caused only a seven year blip in the history of this exceptional malt.
