Tamnavulin Distillery, situated in the heart of Scotland's Speyside region, is a renowned single malt Scotch whisky producer. Founded in 1966, the distillery is located near the small village of Tomnavulin, on the banks of the River Livet. The name Tamnavulin, which translates to "mill on the hill" in Gaelic, reflects its location by the historic former carding mill that once operated on the distillery's site.
The Tamnavulin Sherry Cask is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky that presents a well-rounded and rich experience, highlighted by its maturation process which involves finishing in three different types of Spanish ex-Sherry casks.
Nose:
The aroma of this whisky brings together a delightful mix of freshly baked tarte tatin and vanilla, with emerging notes of banana, caramelized orange, and fresh ginger. This combination offers a layered and inviting bouquet.
Palate:
