The Speyburn Distillery, nestled in the Speyside region of Scotland, has a rich history that dates back to its establishment in 1897. Founded by John Hopkins, the distillery was designed by the renowned architect Charles Doig, whose innovative approaches helped integrate the facility into the Speyside landscape beautifully. Hopkins was motivated by the desire to create a fine Scotch in time to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, and despite numerous challenges, he succeeded, with the first batch of whisky being distilled just in time for the new year celebrations of 1898.
The Speyburn Bradan Orach Scotch Whisky presents a vibrant and refreshing profile that celebrates its Speyside heritage. With its bright, golden amber appearance and inviting aromas of green apples, honey, lemon, and vanilla, it offers a delightful sensory experience. The taste follows suit, being subtle yet full-bodied with creamy, smooth textures and a long, spicy finish that leaves a lasting impression. This whisky, matured exclusively in American Oak ex-bourbon casks, showcases a skillful balance of sweetness and spice, making it a lively and appealing option within the Speyburn range.
